Ching-Hsuan’s compositional voice blends classical and jazz idioms, with a particular focus on cross-genre writing for string quartet. Her works have been presented in Beijing, Taipei, and Paris, drawing inspiration from composers such as Nikolai Kapustin.

In 2024, she was awarded Taiwan’s Classic Music Seed Project grant, where she created a series of string quartet pieces infused with traditional Taiwanese elements, including the moon lute, Taiwanese opera, and tribal melodies.
During her residencies in rural Taiwan, she collaborated with local musicians, traditional artists, and aboriginal children’s choirs, gaining deep insight into Taiwan’s cultural heritage.
