About Dr. Wang

Aside from her background as a former resident artist at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, a violinist in the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, and her international touring history, Dr. Wang maintains a private violin studio welcoming students of all ages.

​

With over 17 years of individual and group teaching experience, Dr. Wang works with all levels from beginners to advanced students. Her background includes teaching at the college level as an adjunct professor at New York University, an instructor at the University of Northern Colorado, and a faculty member at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy (CMA). She has delivered masterclasses and music appreciation lectures globally, and has extensive experience as a sectional coach for youth and school orchestras.

Many of her students successfully pass musical qualification exams or enter distinguished music conservatories. Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, she offers a well-rounded pedagogy that combines technical excellence with musical expression, tailoring courses to help international families find meaning in music and reach their goals—whether picking up a hobby with a solid foundation or preparing for auditions and competitions.
