I love helping students reach their goals and finding meaning in music.

 

I have taught individual lessons for 17 years, from students of beginner levels to advanced levels. I taught students at the college level in Beijing Contemporary Music Academy, as well as four years of instructing students at the college level as an adjunct professor at New York University and instructor and graduate assistant at University of Northern Colorado. I have also worked with students at the high school level in Beijing AIDI International School. As a sectional coach, I have coached Denver Young Artists Orchestra, Cherry Creek School District's High School Honor Orchestra, Celogio Menor Schools orchestra (from Ecuador), and Greeley West High School. I have been to high schools around Greeley, CO to lecture about music appreciation on contemporary music and Piazzolla when I was promoting the 50 State Sonata Project by composer Stephanie Ann Boyd, and while in Beijing, I taught masterclasses and was also a lecturer at BCMA. It is a blessing for me that I could motivate a group of passionate students.


I am a Doctorate in Music from the U.S. After performing globally and completing a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts, I am now welcoming new students of all ages and all levels in Paris.
